      Tell a story in pictures.  This board maintains student attention during story time.  As you tell the story, add the pictures or words to your board.  It keeps children focused on the story and eager to see what's coming next.  The board is double sided which is a perfect opportunity to place comprehension questions on the back of the board. This increases participation, adds fun and ensures children comprehend the story.   This double sided board provides so many opportunities to increase fun during activities.

      Group communication. This visual board is perfect for group communication.  Place instructions on the front of board such as "Sit quietly", "Hands to myself" and "Listen to the teacher".  The back of the board is the perfect place to place pictures of rewards such as "Play outside" and "Free time" etc.  You'll soon find your students are referencing you for instructions while eagerly anticipating the reward as you flip the board to the other side.
